Camera for Raspberry Pi
On May 14, 2013, the Raspberry Pi foundation announced the release of the first camera module board (5MP OV5647) for Raspberry Pi. Three years later, the V2 camera (8MP IMX219) was out with upgrades in resolution and image quality. In 2020, raspberry pi released the 12MP High Quality Camera. Together with their NoIR siblings, we only have five official camera modules in total.
The market needs diversity, and there is an increasing need for 3-party customized Raspberry Pi cameras. Here you can find all kinds of cameras for the Raspberry Pi, ranging from M12/CS/C Mount cameras to MIPI camera module with global shutter and higher-definition support.
