Item Description:

UCTRONICS handheld LC meter U6228 is based on the LC resonant principle, and it adds precision measurement calculation of high-speed microcontroller, so that the meter has the advantage of wide measuring range and high precision, especially suitable for creating radio frequency filters, traps and other radio related stuff. It is very good when dealing with <10pF or uH where other measurement items fall down.

  • Supply Voltage: 5V
  • Power Supply: Φ5 DC power supply and mini USB cable (both of them included), or 4*AA batteries (not included)
  • Dimensions (L x W x H): 150 x 89 x 29mm
  • Weight: 198g

FEATURES:

Measurement Range:

  • C -----Capacitance (0.01pF-10uF)
  • L -----Inductance (0.001uH-100mH)
  • Hi.L -----Large inductance (0.001mH-100H)
  • Hi.C -----Large capacitance (1uF-100mF)

Mode “Hi.C”: measure large capacitance

  • Accuracy: 1uF~100mF--5%
  • Resolution: 0.01uF

Test frequency:

  • Mode “C”, mode “L”~500KHz
  • Mode “Hi.L”~500Hz ~50KHz

The measurement method of large capacitance: Charge-discharge

Working temperature: 0℃-40℃

Working humidity≤90%RH (At 40 ℃)

Package includes:

  • 1×handheld LC meter
  • 1 pair of alligator clip test leads
  • 1×LCR Kelvin alligator clip test lead
  • 1×mini USB cable
  • 1×Φ5 DC power supply
  • 1×manual
NOTE:
  • The capacitor under test must have been completely discharged, otherwise, the meter will be damaged.
  • It needs more time to measure a big capacitance (over 10mF, more than 1s; 100mF, about 8s).
  • If the meter needs to switch the testing mode, it should be calibrated to keep measurement accuracy.
  • For measuring the electrolytic capacitors, the selected mode should be “Hi.C”.
